Beverly Elrod: Absolutely love these! My son and I just watched them all. (My first graders would love them too!) How can I save these or find them so that I can play them at school?

Jen Konz: I have a similar question. My district has You Tube blocked on all computers. Do you know of a way to save the videos from You Tube so I can save them at home and then bring them to school?

Kathy: My district also blocks Youtube. I tried some of the free programs that let you save the videos but they didn't work for me. So I bought a program called Video Download Capture at http://www.video-download-capture.com/. It lets me download the videos and then converts them to a wmv file so that I can play it on Windows Media Player. It makes it so easy. To me, it was worth the $30 I paid. I have been using these videos everyday for the past two years.

It is an iPad app for Grade 1 students, and covers the entire syllabus for Grade 1 Science. It also includes several modules and exercises that make learning fun and motivating for children.
