Penguin Clip Art

I'm not looking to go into the clip art business but I do like to play with graphics some time.

Lately I've been playing with shapes and this is what I came up with.

I wanted some penguins to go with verbs for my penguin unit and a new game and couldn't find just what I was looking for so I made my own.

Here's a diving penguin...

and a swimming penguin.

WELCOME to my very 1st BIRTHDAY

I'm so GLAD that you could come and CELEBRATE with me!

I can't believe it was a whole year ago that I started this little blog to share my ideas and experience with other teachers around the globe. I went from begging teachers at my school to FOLLOW and almost begging family to over 1400 FOLLOWERS today.

This has been an AMAZING year for me and my blog!

This game is for practicing compound words.

This is another one of my race games to practice reading Fry words 1-100 with a birthday theme.

Let's open some gifts.

This is another oldie but a goodie. I'm not really sure why I'm not doing it this year. It's a book for your students to make for the birthday child. The birthday student colors the cover. Each of the other children complete a page for the birthday child. Bind the pages together and give to them at the end of the day. 

Finally, let's have some cake.

This is a Color by Code to practice short vowel words.
