Orange Pumpkin, Orange Pumpkin

Here's an oldie but a goodie from my classroom.

It's a Halloween innovation of Brown Bear, Brown Bear by Eric Carle.

We read it over and over again at this time of year. I have revamped it many, many times. Here's my latest version....

Click the picture to grab your own copy. ENJOY!

My students always enjoy making their own to read. Here's one for your students to make. They create their own little version of the book by sequencing the story. Then match the pictures or draw their own illustrations to go with the words.

Stop by Wednesday to read my first edition of What Are We Reading Wednesday.  I will be posting a literature selection we are reading in my classroom with activities to go with the story.

My guys will go crazy for this one.
I will have to make many copies for our classroom library because it will be the most popular book on the shelf.
They will love making their own "mini" version too. Many thanks, Happy Halloween.

I stopped teaching freshmen English to stay home when I had my son. He's 4 now, and we are doing preschool at home. Thanks so much for sharing this activity! It is so cute, and certainly makes teaching a little one less scary to have help :) Thank you!

The developing wage of the Indian white collar class is helping the Indian auto market develop more than ever. After the increase in salary of the administration staff in 2009, a great many Indians all of a sudden had more cash in their grasp. It brought about surprising interest for 4-wheeler in the year 2009. The Indian auto market developed when the majority of business sectors of the created countries have been stagnant. check cashing san-diego

Brown Bear, Brown Bear by Bill Martin Jr. and illustrated by Eric Carle is a classic book for young readers. The REPETITIVE (not rhyming) text is what makes the book easy for little ones to memorize. The book introduces the very young to animal names and color words. The simple, REPETITIVE text encourages even the youngest of readers to chime in. An excellent choice and a must have in your child's library.
