I have taught grades 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, Transition, EIP, and now Literacy Coaching over the past 28 years. Although First Grade which is where my heart lives, I spend a lot of time in K-5 classrooms daily! I am so glad you stopped by!
I just had to post and share this website that I found on someone else's blog this weekend. It imprints your words on pics of valentine candy hearts. You save the pic on your hard drive and let the fun begin. I spent a GREAT part of my weekend playing with it! I made hearts with names, numbers, letters, and words. ENJOY!!
Here's a game we are playing in my classroom to practice our opposites. This game comes with game board, game cards, and answer key for easy self checking. Just add game pieces and you are good to go. You can play in groups of 2s, 3s, or 4s. We play games everyday to sharpen our skills. My students love them!
I'm thinking the best way to get started is to jump right in, which is what I usually do. I think I will start by posting a story map that I created and am using this year. I used DJinkers art, which I love and own all of it! Let me know what you think.
