It's All Here...

This is my largest collection of games EVER!!

I created a game for each of the Common Core standards in math for First Grade. Let me tell you, it was not easy. The most difficult ones were data/graphing and the associative property.

These games are GREAT for guided math, math stations/centers, partner games, and even independent practice with my Take Ten recording sheet. All you need to do is print, cut game cards, maybe add a die, and friends to play!

To see a preview of all 27 games, click on the pic above.

It's on SALE for 50% off for the next 24 hours in my Teachers Pay Teachers store!

My next It's All Here project is 5th grade math. Wish me luck!

The first two people to leave a comment and email address below will get this set for FREE!

As this is my last weekend before going back to work, I'm heading to the mall. ENJOY your day!

The Writing Thief cont.

I began this post about the book I'm currently reading...

last week at ...

Click above to go back to the beginning by clicking here.

The 4Ws of Writing that Ruth identifies as most important, which I totally agree! They are the basics...

Writing Process--Prewriting, Drafting, Feedback, Revision, Editing, Publishing

Writing Traits--Ideas, Organization, Voice, Word Choice, Sentence Fluency, Conventions, Presentation (new to me)

Writing Workshop--the classroom structure

Writing Modes--Narrative, Expository/Informational, Persuasive/Opinion/Argumentative

All are dynamic, research based, and essential elements that lead to student writing success!

See you on Wednesday when I will discuss Chapter 2-The Power of Mentor Texts for Writing.
