Be sure to read
10 Fat Turkeys by Tony Johnston to your students this holiday season.
Then share 5 Fat Turkeys..
I made this book years ago for Thanksgiving subtraction from a poem... I think. Click on the picture above to grab your own copy.
To make your own, cut out the rectangles blocked off at the top of the pages. Students can watch the turkeys disappear as you/they read the story. ENJOY!!

Thanks you! I am using 5 Fat Turkeys for poetry journals next week. This book will be a great way to introduce the poem to my students.
I remember this song from my first year of teaching, oh so long ago. But this is the cutest version I've ever seen! Thanks for sharing.♥♫
Thank you so much! I have several copies of this book and I know my K's will like your version. So clever! Happy Turkey Day to you!

Thank you so much for the cute book! I'm not a 'teacher' but I do have grandkids that love stories like these! Thanks for sharing!
LOVE this!! I had this book for years to use in my music room and now I've lost it. Could you please send me a copy? When I click on the TPT site it brings me to here but not an option to download.
