Post-It Clipboards

I have Literacy Night coming up this Tuesday, October 1, 2013. I wanted to give a little extra thank you to those that are giving their time to support the event.

So I made 60 of these...

I found the directions to make these little clipboards on the interent somewhere but don't know exactly where. So you will have to settle for my little how to.

These are the materials I needed

I got the binder clips and note pads at the Dollar Tree for $1.00 each, permanent tape runner for $1.99 at JoAnn's, the 8 pack coasters at Target for $1.00 and scrapbook paper.

First, I cut 4"x4" squares from the paper and 1/2" x 1 1/4" strips.

I attached the paper square to the coaster with the tape runner

and cut off the corners.

Then I sanded the edges of the paper around the coaster.

After that, I attached the small strip of paper to the binder clip

and the clip to the coaster.

Finally, I added the note pad and...

SUPER easy and cute, if I say so myself!
