In keeping with our work on math stations and building computation skills by mastering basic facts, here is my original race game to practice addition. These games were definitely a favorite in my classroom!
I recreated the game cards to include all addends to 12. Now I can just pick out the game cards for the skill I want them to practice. Maybe doubles, zero rule. adding onto a certain number, or just practice all the facts. This is a GREAT way to differentiate for my First Grade friends!
Just print, cut cards apart, add game pieces, and add friends. Now you are Off to the Races!

Stop by tomorrow to check out Subtraction Races!

This is a great activity! Thank you so much for sharing! I teach 2nd grade, and we work on facts to 20. Would you mind if I create extra cards to go with your game...or would you rather make them yourself and add to the activity? I don't want to do anything that would be considered "copying" your hard work and creativity!!!
THANKS Reagan....I hope it's worth it! My students have always enjoyed the games. I hope yours do too!

Hey Debra...Go ahead! I don't mind as long as you don't publish them. I have a little problem with that kind of stuff. THANKS for asking!
