I am thankful for generous and creative teacher/bloggers!
As I sit and think about what I have to be thankful for, I realize how blessed I truly am. I have a job to come to every day...even though my second graders can be a challenge at times. I have a wonderful family that loves me and a loyal dog and welcome me home everyday. I have my health and my freedom. There are so many things we take for granted in this country, it's humbling to sit and think of all the things we have to be thankful for.

I am thankful that my husband is still with us after suffering a stroke, for a loving family,and for my church and friends. I'm thankful I still enjoy getting up (after 30+ years) to go to school for a new adventure. Lastly, I love the new friends, like you, that are popping up on the web and sharing great ideas !!!

I am incredibly thankful for my 4 healthy and happy children! Whenever I hear of a sick child I always think "There, but for the Grace of God, go I". If anyone can spare a few prayers, our counselor's great-niece has just been diagnosed with FOP which is a progressive disease that turns her muscles to bone, she's only 4 :(

I am thankful to have a job in a school district working with Emotionally Impaired Students, so I am to support my husband and pay off our student loans. I am thankful that I have great family and friends who have helped my husband and I though my diagnosis and treatment of Epilepsy this year. It would take too long to share all that I am thankful for. My husband is my champion, my encourager, and my hero; I am thankful for him. I couldn't do all I do as a teacher without him! My little dachshunds cheer me by happily greeting me every time I come home from school (they know it is their suppertime when I arrive)! I love your blog and the fun projects for my first graders. They are delighted to do projects that seem like pure fun rather than work!!! -LH

I am thankful for my family. My six sons are all healthy and smart. I am thankful that my parents are living and near. I am thankful for my wonderful school and our new principal. I have just discovered this site and I am thankful for that.
